About Pole Community

Pole Community is a free, national directory of pole dance and aerial studios in the United States and beyond. It exists because pole and aerial students searching "pole studio near me" mostly find marketing, not a straight answer — so we built one.

As of this writing, the directory lists 1016 studios across 51 US states and 1 country beyond the US, built from first-party research — we visit each studio's own site or social page, note what we can confirm, and say plainly when we can't. Listings are free; no studio can pay for placement or a better spot on the page.

Who runs this

Pole Community is owned and run by Sen Moves LLC, the team behind Sen MovesWear, a Seattle-based polewear brand. We're disclosing that plainly here rather than burying it, because an undisclosed shop-owned "community" site would undercut the honesty this directory is built on. Pole Community's own coverage — including studios, and eventually instructors, gear, and other pole businesses — treats every listing by the same rules, including Sen MovesWear's own competitors.

How listings work

Every listing on this site carries the sources we actually checked. A studio marked "verified" with a date had its own website or schedule confirmed live on that date. "Listed, not re-verified" means the studio appears in earlier research but current activity wasn't re-confirmed recently. "Unverified" means the listing needs a check before you plan a visit. We never invent a fact — an address, a class schedule, a price — that we haven't actually seen.

What's next

We're adding states and cities as we finish researching them, one region at a time, rather than publishing guesses. Long-term, Pole Community is meant to grow into a community effort — built with input from studios, instructors, and the people who train with them — rather than something only we maintain alone.
